The innovative Bali 4.5 catamaran sets the new standard for the design of performance cruising catamarans.
Bali Catamarans are built to the same high-quality standards customers have come to expect from Catana. However, the two brands differ in their designs. The Bali 4.5 has combined innovative design features to create a comfortable and seaworthy performance cruiser.
Bali has coined the term “open space” to describe the new way of living and sailing on a catamaran. When you step on board you will experience what this means. This boat appears much larger than other boats of the same size. The main lounge interior and exterior sailing areas feel connected due to exceptional light, ventilation, and panoramic views through the large, garage-style windows. When at anchor, the forward saloon window can fully retract, and with the aft doors open, air flows uninterrupted through the interior and blends the indoor and outdoor spaces. The interior living arrangement is similar to what you may have at home. The galley features the latest in appliances, and there is no lack of storage.
Places to relax are no longer limited to the aft deck. A forward cockpit with dining and sunbathing area have replaced the traditional trampoline while there is still room for lounging in an aft cockpit and coachroof sunbathing area. There is an emphasis on comfort throughout the entire boat.
Despite the addition of outdoor lounging spaces, the boat stays dry while underway due to its high freeboard. All the cruising amenities have not taken away from the performance of the boat. Testers remarked that “sail handling was a breeze” with the self-tacking jib and user-friendly deck layout. Bali’s boat building techniques and materials have resulted in a light and responsive boat in any conditions. Sailing the Bali 4.5 will put a smile on your face as you steer from the protection of the bulkhead console or flybridge.
