With it remarkable performance and it excellent level of safety and comfort, the Catana C47 30th anniversary edition is, more than ever, setting the standard for offshore cruising. Perfected by the Catana yard, the new boat is almost 700 kg lighter thanks to the use of carbon, already used on the production models for structural bulkheads, the coachroof, and numerous structural reinforcements.
At the helm, the Catana C47 proves to be extremely easy to handle. The instruments are all mounted in the cockpit, where footrest, life-lines, and handrails are integrated to enable you to move around freely, easily, and safely. Tacking, taking in reefs, handling the daggerboards, and sailing maneuvers, in general, are all accomplished with ease.
At the controls of this ultra-performance catamaran, you are capable of maintaining high average speeds over long distances. Achieving up to 25 knots during initial sea trials, equally light and lively, an exceptional ability under sail, she gives the crew and passengers an incredible sensation of speed and acceleration while remaining stable and comfortable thanks to the large bridgedeck clearance.
