Evolution Under Sail
The Bali 4.1 is the latest evolution of the popular Bali 4.0 catamaran, enhanced through the feedback of owners and charterers. The designers saw the opportunity to build on the success of the 4.0 with even more spacious and open social areas, and additional bench seating and storage in the aft cockpit.
Like the 4.0, the Bali catamaran 4.1 is built for comfort and space, yet proves herself to be well-rounded by also demonstrating outstanding performance and handling at sea.
Throughout, expect to find generous spaces, an easy flow and efficiency that makes sailing and onboard living a joy.
As with many of the Bali models, the 4.1 features a noticeably different foredeck. With the traditional trampoline having been replaced by an integral rigid deck allowing for a large forward cockpit with dining area, and padded sunbathing lounge.
Also adding to comfort underway are the expertly designed, vacuum-infused hulls that serve to nicely deflect spray away from passengers, as well as allow for additional interior volume.
Above, the flybridge can be accessed by conveniently located stairs on either side of the hull, where guests can enjoy the large sunbathing area. Skippers will find the helm is well-placed, with excellent visibility, and easy handling even when short-handed.
Light & Ergonomics
The interior of the Bali 4.1 sailing catamaran has been redesigned by Lasta Design Studio and emphasizes natural light and ergonomics. Generous work and storage spaces in the galley are complemented by a convenient pass-through window for communicating and serving guests on the foredeck.
Naturally, the 4.1 boasts Bali’s pivoting aft door innovation that opens the entire aft wall of the boat to the outdoors – allowing the table to serve double duty as both saloon and cockpit dining area.
The onboard accommodations are comfortable and spacious, with a number of layout options including a crew-pleasing 4-cabin/4-bath version, and a 3-cabin/3-bath layout with generous owner’s suite.
