Lagoon 450 S
Accessible & High-Performing
The Lagoon 450 S ‘SporTop’ version was conceived by the brand after listening to the requests of their boat owners – those preferring a helm station that is centrally located to the main living areas, as opposed to the 450 F ‘flybridge’ version.
Developed by naval architects VPLP Design and Patrick le Quément, the 450 S leveraged well-known Lagoon DNA features such as vertical saloon windows, flush deck hatches and a one-level saloon and aft cockpit. Consistent with the entire Lagoon range, the 450 S proves herself to be an easy-handling, high-performance sailing catamaran that’s fast, responsive and stable.
And as always, this Lagoon is supremely comfortable both underway and at anchor, with stowage that’s well-suited for extended cruising.
At the heart of the 450 S is the starboard-side helm station that keeps the skipper in easy communication with central living areas. All control lines lead to the helm with optional composite hardtop bimini, where 2 people can comfortably enjoy the ergonomically designed layout.
Other practical features include an efficient tender davit system, easily accessible and sound-proofed engine compartment, and an anchor davit placed below the forward beam to prevent hull damage from the chain.
On the main deck, the interior design by Nauta simultaneously achieves elegance and functionality for a live-aboard experience that’s supremely comfortable and refreshingly efficient. The saloon, nav station and galley are bathed in natural light from the wraparound windows. The U-shaped galley faces the aft cockpit for convenient serving, and features a broad workspace with plenty of storage.
Cabin layout configurations include options for either a 3-cabin/3-bath version with expansive owner’s suite, or a 4-cabin/4-bath version.
