The Bali 5.2 launched at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2025 and is an exciting new addition to the Bali catamaran lineup. At 52 feet, it keeps all the signature features that make the Bali catamarans instantly recognizable, like the solid forward deck and the iconic tilting “Bali door”. It’s a model that clearly borrows from the flagship Bali 5.8, but manages to do so in a slightly smaller format. The difference, though, is that the Bali 5.2 is incredibly versatile, a bit easier to handle, and very accessible to a wider range of sailors thanks to its more manageable size. Simply put, it’s the perfect yacht for those who want to travel far and live comfortably while truly enjoying every bit of the journey.

Constructed for Durability and Long-Range Cruising

The design of the Bali 5.2 maintains a clear focus on comfort and livability. Thanks to decades of experience in performance catamarans, Catana has successfully constructed a sail plan with an overlapping genoa that delivers smooth, efficient sailing. Twin engines start at 57 HP each, with upgrades available up to 115 HP, giving you plenty of power when you need it. For off-grid cruising, the large battery bank and optional solar panels ensure you’ll never get stranded without power. Living on board the Bali 5.2 is a breeze, and the solid foredeck adds to the experience. It doesn’t just add extra lounging space but strength and rigidity as well, making this catamaran a capable and stylish companion at sea.

Harmonious Spaces Built for Comfort and Socializing

From the moment you step onboard, the Bali 5.2 invites you to relax and take in the wide-open, harmonious spaces around you, basking in natural light. The salon offers seating for up to 12 at a large dining table, complemented by a lounge area for relaxing. The Bali 5.2 interior includes a U-shaped galley that is practical and fully equipped, while the forward-facing chart table doubles as a workspace for remote work. Outdoors, the forward lounge is ideal for sunbathing, the wide aft platform is perfect for gatherings, and the hydraulic swim platform transforms the stern into a floating “Beach Club.” The spacious flybridge lounge offers panoramic views and has quickly become a favorite social hub on board the Bali range.

Highly Customizable Layout Options

What really sets the Bali 5.2 layout apart is how adaptable it is. It’s the only yacht model in its size range to offer owners the possibility to choose up to 6 cabins. However, cabin configurations may also include fewer cabins and an owner’s suite, with optional crew cabins in the forepeaks, which means it can accommodate up to 16 berths in total.
