The deck of the Berret-Racoupeau designed Aura 51 has been completely redesigned, marking a new era for the Fountaine Pajot shipyard, and providing even greater space and comfort. As the largest yacht in the range without a full flybridge, the 51 is a true sailor catamaran with a low and sleek profile.

High capacity renewable energy

An ambition of the Foutaine Pajot shipyard is to provide sailors with sustainable power autonomy. With this in mind, the Aura 51 was designed to incorporate a large surface area of solar panels, seamlessly integrated into the flybridge’s sleek design. This innovative approach enables the generation of 2000 Watts of renewable energy, a staggering five times more than similar yachts equipped with solar panels, making the Aura 51 a true pioneer in sustainable cruising.

Further, the Fountaine Pajot 51 is available as a hybrid Smart Electric version, pairing advanced energy management technologies with an innovative electric propulsion system.

Uniquely designed comfort

The flybridge offers a comfortable raised helm station and vast lounge area with plush wrap-around bench seating and a forward sunbathing area perfect for catching rays or night time star gazing.

Another innovation aboard the Aura 51 is the extra-wide opening between the salon and the aft cockpit – facilitating service and communication from the galley. A sizable kitchen island provides ample workspace for the cook and serves to separate the galley from the living area.

The aft cockpit is open and welcoming with a large table and L-shaped cushioned sofa capable of seating 10 guests. Additional bench seating and day bed lounger are perfect for socializing in shaded comfort. The aft hydraulic tender lift serves dual purpose as a swim platform.

Aura 51 layout

The sweeping salon offers nearly 7-ft of headroom near the entrance, and boasts an abundance of natural light with large windows on three sides and two rows of skylights. The finishes throughout are a clean and modern blend of warm neutrals with white cabinets and counters. Modern sofas and bench seating create a home-like welcoming atmosphere.

The Fountaine Pajot Aura 51 provides a choice of 4 different cabin configurations. The 4-cabin Maestro with 1 or 2 owner’s suites, the 5-cabin Maestro with 1 massive owner’s suite in the port hull, or a 6-cabin version. Each cabin has its own ensuite bath, including the 6-cabin version – a first on the catamaran market for a 51-foot model.
