Owner sailing weeks

What boats are considered equivalent model categories for reciprocal Owner Use?

A catamaran owner can use other catamarans up to 2 feet larger than your own boat. A monohull owner can use other monohulls up to 3 feet larger.

Can I upgrade and sail on a larger boat if I want to?

Of course! Depending on availability, you can upgrade to a larger boat with or without a skipper, by paying the difference in price for the week.

Can I sell my unused Owner Weeks?

Owner weeks are reserved for you and cannot be sold to a third party. However, family members can utilize your Owner sailing weeks with your permission.

Are there any additional costs for my Owner sailing weeks?

For each week of sailing, boat cleaning, laundry and post-charter inspection costs are the responsibility of the owner. The additional costs are billed as a package based on the boat’s category. Services such as provisions and water toys can be pre-ordered, and are of course an extra fee.

How can I reserve my Owner Weeks for sailing?

Once your program has started, you will receive your personal access to connect to our online Dream Yacht Owner Reservation System. The platform will allow you to see all the available models for your chosen dates, and make your booking request with just a few clicks.

How does the Owner Use Points system work?

Our Owner Points system helps you make the most of your Advance Booking sailing weeks. Each Dream Yacht owner is allocated points every year in accordance with their program’s owner use agreement. You can then use your Owner Points toward a combination of PEAK, HIGH, MID, and LOW season advance sailing weeks. Lower season sailing requires fewer points for those looking to maximize their time on the water. Points are not needed for using your allocated Last Minute sailing weeks.
