Excitement Under Sail
The Beneteau Oceanis 40.1 follows in the design tradition of her larger sister, the Oceanis 51.1, with a newly-designed hull and unrivalled space both on deck and below. Designed by renowned naval architect Marc Lombard, with interior and deck design by Nauta Design, the 40.1 will impress even the most discriminating sailor with her superior performance and comfort under sail.
The innovative new flared hull design supports speed and is stiff under sail, while maintaining an optimal deck plan and supremely spacious interior with the feel of a yacht much larger than her 42-foot length. Available in a variety of different layouts, draughts and rigs, the 40.1 has an option for every cruising and liveaboard lifestyle.
Fast & Fun
The 40.1 is decidedly fast, fun and easy to sail with her twin helm stations and self-tacking jib.
The cockpit is spacious for easy movement and flow, and comfortable enough for your crew of 8 to enjoy the cushioned bench seating and drop-leaf dinette table. Swimming, sunbathing and leisure time awaits on the fold-down transom that converts to a large swim platform.
The interior spaces are surprisingly airy, bright and open with a choice of walnut or light oak finishes. The U-shaped galley offers plenty of storage and worktops, while the large U-shaped saloon table offers seating for 8. Easy movement and efficiency is enhanced by a removable bench and dropdown table that can be moved when not in use.
The 40.1 is available in 2, 3, or 4-cabin configurations, with 1 or 2 baths to perfectly accommodate family and friends.
