Catana Shipyard Group announced recently that it has sold 100 Bali Catamarans in just 25 months.
The world of cruising has been changed by the innovative design of the Bali Catamaran. The 100th boat was a model 4.3 which was sold at the Barcelona Boat Show.
The company has reason to celebrate as Bali customers have responded positively to the new “open space” concept on the 4.0 and 4.3 models. The interior blends with the exterior to offer expansive living space including a full galley, which is usually limited to boats of a larger size. Front windows open up the forward lounge and the rear entrance to the salon opens fully with a retractable garage-style electric lift door. Bali has also created a new use of space by eliminating the trampoline and replacing with a solid surface.
The open interior is complimented by the performance and ease of sailing the boats. The increased rigidity and efficient underwater hull profile makes for excellent handling in a sea. For all the interior comforts, Bali Catamarans do not compromise on speed and performance while sailing or motoring.
Dream Yacht Sales recently displayed all three of the Bali models (4.0, 4.3 and 4.5) at the Annapolis Boat Show, and it was apparent that customers were excited about the new design and the high build quality of the Bali catamarans. General Manager of Dream Yacht Sales, Dan Lockyer commented on why he thinks the Bali brand has been such a success. “Bali Catamarans are the perfect boat for our sailing and charter customers who need a versatile boat with plenty of space that is ready for short trips or long range cruising”.
Building on the success of the smaller models such as the Bali 4.0, which is nominated as a Sail Magazine Boat of the Year in 2017, Bali will launch two more models in the next few years to include Bali 5.3 and 5.8. The Bali 4.3 was already named a Cruising World Boat Multihull Cruising Boat of the Year and Sail Magazine Best Cruising Multihull 41-50 feet in 2016.
