Offset the cost of buying your new yacht with a Dream Ownership program. Your yacht will be active and generating revenue in our charter fleet, under expert management, for up to 6-7 years. Depending on the program chosen, you will either receive a stream of charter revenue, or benefit from an immediate discount with a significantly reduced buy-in payment.

Dream Yacht offers more bases around the world than the leading competitor with 35 bases in the most idyllic, sought-after destinations throughout the Caribbean, Pacific, Americas, Indian Ocean, Mediterranean, Bahamas, Asia, and the Atlantic. Most of our programs offer up to 12 weeks of reciprocal Owner Use privileges aboard similar sized yachts at any of our bases worldwide. Sail more of the world for less cost! You’ll simply use your allotted Owner Use Points to reserve your chosen weeks on our convenient online booking system.

Flexible program exits

When your program comes to an end, we’re here to assist with making your transition as easy as possible. Owners can choose to sell their yacht, or keep it for private use. For those wishing to sell, our brokerage team can assist, and start the process even before the end of your program term to help ensure a timely sale. Many of our Owners choose to continue in a Dream Ownership program using proceeds from the sale of their existing yacht as a down payment towards their next ownership adventure.

Can I see the boat before I decide to buy it?

Depending on the particular yacht of interest, there are a few different ways to see it before you purchase.  A great way to get familiar with the yacht model you’re interested in is through a Dream Yacht charter in one of our stunning destinations. This allows you to get first hand experience with the boat and a feel for the liveaboard lifestyle. Speak to a Dream Yacht sales consultant for information on the specific yachts you’re interested in. 

For programs with zero operating expenses – what expenses are covered?

Programs offering zero operating expenses cover everything, including all maintenance, dockage, and insurance. Any parts, rigging, or haul out expenses incurred during the program are fully covered by Dream Yacht. Your phase out at the end of the program will also include maintenance to bring the yacht to the agreed condition before final hand over to you. 

How will my boat be maintained?

At Dream Yacht, our yacht management programs relieve the owner of maintenance responsibilities for the duration of their program – with most programs fully covering the related expenses. Our base teams have seasoned Fleet experts and technicians that keep maintenance schedules and detailed logs, with the base manager acting as the supervisor. What if I want to sell my boat at the end of the program?

Dream Yacht offers expert brokerage services for a fee. Just notify your yacht sales consultant approximately 6 to 12 months before your program ends, so you can continue receiving charter income (depending on your program) until the boat sells.
